Throughout the workshop I had a smile plastered to my face the whole time and a sore neck from nodding with agreement. Literally straight after it, I went across the road and bought a book to fill with the ideas that flowed as a result. The next few hours were spent happily writing away in a local park in my complete element. I walked home with my phone in my pocket and on the hunt for ‘red things’."
Clare listened carefully to my thoughts and visions and quickly understood the new path I was looking to carve in my career. She guided me through my options and helped me work out practical next steps to move in the right direction. I enjoyed Clare's thoughtful approach and the introductions she made for me have been already born fruit..
There's a lot to be said for giving oneself "permission" to have a day away from all the routines and technological noise of everyday life to explore the inner mind a bit. I can't recommend this day highly enough to anybody who wants to workshop their creative ideas or just to take some time out, whether they're old hand artists or those who think they don't have a creative bone in their body."
This retreat was exactly what I needed to avoid burnout and press the reset button on the joy of writing. Clare is a welcoming host and created a no pressure environment where creativity could come out easily to play. I wrote more than I imagined possible throughout the weekend and had the absolute pleasure to connect with other creative ladies who I now consider friends.
Making notes collectively felt empowering, like we It felt empowering, like we were doing something novel with public space.
Really insightful and thought-provoking. I came away with lots of notes and tips to work on further.
Plenty of stops to stretch our imagination a little, look for the extraordinary tucked in amongst the ordinary.
I learned such a lot in such a short time on that walk. It really sparked something for me.
